Why Love ❤️ is so Important To Your Business and Success!
The more love you have for yourself, your team, other teams, the company, strangers and life in general will make it so much easier to succeed in network marketing.
Love Yourself
How do I love myself?
This is the most important love in building a successful business. If you love yourself you will have the right energy and you will also get people to follow you. We also want to build a business of confident people who just get on with it. If you do not love yourself you will probably attract people who are similar and will need you all the time for all their issues. A few things to improve your self-worth is to exercise regularly, eat healthily, serve others, be grateful and do not take life so seriously.
Love Your Prospects
I do not mean go sleep with them all!
If you go into any meeting or online situation with love for your prospect you will always end up having a better conversation. Maybe we have an incredible solution for them in terms of making a bit of extra money, or wanting to have more time. If you approach that scenario with love in looking to see if they are looking for something like this then there will be way less tension. Also, respect their decision if they are not ready to join at this time. Ask them if you can stay in touch with them. Make sure to follow up frequently not by always asking them if they want to join the opportunity but just to build the relationship.
Love Your Partners
Yes even the irritating ones!
Your team is everything. Love them like family. You will not always agree with them, you will not always like them but you should always love them. When you empathize with them and be there for them during tough times then they will remember that forever. I have seen in certain cultures that people never ever want to let their upline down. It does not work in the same way in all cultures and that is where your team will be much more loyal to them if you show them love. I am always proud of being the biggest cheerleader in the world. I also understand that love means being tough on people and letting them experience the tough challenges. This makes your people stronger. Be proud of your team, encourage them to become better every day and love them through good times and bad.
Love Your Corporate Employees
But they screwed up my order!
It is interesting that the people working for the company are actually people who come and go. However, we as independent contractors are here forever. They are not as dependent on this as they can always go and get another job. This is what I love about the people I am currently working with at the company. Nick Johnson, Tove Rugsveen and Cara Giliomee work insane hours and are there late nights and weekends which is way beyond their job description. So massive gratitude to them.
Love Your Sidelines
But I really do not like some of them!
When you work as a team then you will see that as the tide rises all ships rise. I have seen egos get in the way and markets being hurt in a big way when people decide not to work together. It happened in our business in Hungary several years ago and it was devastating for the best market. I have also seen it happen a few other places. You do not have to like your sidelines but you have to love them and work with them.
I am always super grateful for Susie Mollison and Bridget Long as they were women able to inspire people in my team. Our line were mainly men and the women in my team needed another woman to show the the way. These two did just that. Thank you!
Love Your Products
This one is often easy.
Are you working with the absolute best products in the world? Of course you are! Or wait maybe not. How would you ever know? Maybe they are the best products you have tried. Never embellish how good your opportunity is but definitely love the products you get to use. In our business we recommend skincare and health products. I love these products as I find that they help me look and feel better, however, I love them even more because they are a way for my family and I to have a better life.
Love Your Opportunity
I love freedom!
It is not always going to be super rosy in your business. You will run into issues with negative people, lazy people, mean people, products might not arrive on time, you might even receive the wrong product! Oh no life-ending event almost, you ordered a hand lotion and you received the foot cream! When you truly love the opportunity and see the big picture then all these small challenges will not even matter. Having that optimism about what is possible and sharing that with the world while you are filled with love is what will bring you massive success.
One of the turning points for me in this business was listening to Dan McCormick’s Millionaire Training Circle every week. On there he speaks very highly of Og Mandino’s “The Greatest Salesman in the World.” This is a very short book that contains 10 scrolls and takes almost a year to read. One of the scrolls is all about love. I challenge you to complete this book which I believe he gives 1 in 75 odds. You got this I believe in you!
For this is the greatest secret of success in all ventures. Muscle can split a shield and even destroy a life, but only the unseen power of love can open the hearts of men and until I master this art I will remain no more than a peddler in the marketplace. I will make love my greatest weapon and none on whom I call can defend against its force.
My reasoning they may counter; my speech they may distrust; my apparel they may disapprove; my face they may reject; and even my bargains may cause them suspicion; yet my love will melt all hearts liken to the sun whose rays soften the coldest clay.
I will greet this day with love in my heart.
Henceforth I will look upon all things with love and I will be born again. I will love the sun for it warms my bones; yet I will love the rain for it cleanses my spirit. I will love the light for it shows me the way; yet I will love the darkness for it shows me the stars. I will welcome happiness because it enlarges my heart; yet I will endure sadness because it opens my soul. I will acknowledge rewards because they are my due; yet I will welcome obstacles because they are my challenge.
