Have you ever been working on your network marketing business and been recruited by people from other companies?
Have you ever taken a closer look at other companies wondering if the grass is greener on the other side?
Have you ever been with more than one company at a time?
You need to see if you can find some really good blinders.
I often found myself listening to other companies and other deals out there and sometimes wondering if it was greener on the other side.
But never quitting on the company I was with eventually lead me to incredible success! So knowing about the industry has lead me to believe more in what I do.
It is so easy to look left and right and see some fancy compensation plan or some crazy energy caused by a brand new company. However, this is a huge mistake. First of all understand that out of around 70,000 companies that have started in the direct selling industry only around 2,000 are today in business. This means if you join a startup you are 97% sure the company will go bankrupt no matter how hard you work.
I spent so much time wasting away seeing what else was out there - how other network marketers were doing. Maybe I should also switch to their company that seems to be flying? It looked like it was so much easier. It seemed that the only way to have success was join a newish company. The only thing you should ever do in these situations is to keep these people in your database and follow up every now and then as they are probably not going to do well and therefore need better guidance and be with your company in 6-18 months. There are very few people who I know that were part of my organisation and then later on went to work with another company and had long term success.
I am also a firm believer that we gain confidence and pride by sticking it out through the tough times. Go through the “gooo” and come out the other side stronger and more successful. This way you will be super proud of your accomplishment.
Challenge for you:
Write down a list of all network marketers who approach you. Keep them on your special follow up list. Like their posts, comment on their things, wish them well. If you build relationships with them then they will be ready to jump on your boat once theirs sinks. The likeliness of that happening is around 97-98%. Also always joke around with them that you look forward to working together soon. Keeping it light and not too serious always helps them smile which makes them like you more.
